Prices
It is almost impossible to place a value on a bespoke website design - you might find an average price, but there are always extremes. Agency rates are 2 or 3 times higher than mine, which is not unreasonable considering their overheads and need to pay salaries even when work loads are low. This is simply why SquareNet's prices are lower without compromising the quality.

I usually charge on a fixed-price basis for projects. If your site is simple and well briefed it could be designed for as little as £399.00 - this for a typical 8 page site. The larger your project the more you could save because, like many businesses, I discount for bigger orders.

Website maintenance rates

The minimum billing time is 1 hour (£30) for new sites to familiarise myself and set up local files and 0.25 hours (£7.50) thereafter for sites I have previously updated. Invoices are usually issued when the billable amount reaches £100 or when 2 months of non-activity has passed.
